Saturation

Along with hue and brightness, saturation is one of the three properties that humans perceive in color. The degree of saturation is measured by the distance from the gray point and refers to the intensity or purity of a color. High saturation means a vibrant, pure color, while low saturation makes the color appear faded or more gray.
