Colour measurement of baking ingredients
Baking ingredients such as starch, baking powder, flour or semolina, as well as ready-made baking mixes, are subject to high quality standards.
They form the basis of many types of pasta and manufacturers and processors must guarantee controlled quality. Visual comparison with the human eye does not meet this requirement.
The end consumer also places high demands on the food product used for baking and cooking.
Instrumental measurement with highly developed spectrophotometers, on the other hand, is easy to use both in the laboratory and in production and provides the exact control required for quality management.
Powder samples are usually placed in cuvettes on the colorimeter and the measurement results are available within a few seconds. Integrated colorimetric software supports the evaluation and further processing of the measurement data.
