The UltraScan VIS spectrophotometer with sphere geometry (diffuse/8°) provides certainty for colour safety within the visible spectrum. In 10 nm steps, the UltraScan VIS covers the wavelength range recommended by the CIE.

    Measuring apertures with 25.4 mm and 9.35 mm provide the prerequisite for precise measurement results in reflection.

Easy handling

Whether large or small: UltraScan VIS allows samples to be loaded in all dimensions – optionally from different directions, depending on requirements and available space, as the device is open on three sides.
A thread embedded in the base conveniently locks various accessories in place if required.
Samples up to a thickness of 100 mm can be measured.

All-rounder for reflection and transmission

The UltraScan VIS has an integrating sphere with a diameter of 152 mm and a high-quality coating for a long service life.
The sphere is equipped with a fully automatically controlled gloss trap for measurements with and without gloss inclusion.
For the determination of almost any type of sample in total and regular transmission, reflection with and without gloss inclusion as well as haze and opacity.
